Michael L. Young

Mike has been Securities Licensed since 1997 and has his Series 7, Series 24, Series 53, Series 63 and Series 65 securities registration held with LPL Financial. 

He attended the University of Vermont and earned his BS Degree in 1977. In 1988 he earned his Chartered Financial Consultant from American College.  In 1999 Mike earned his Chartered Life Underwriter from the American College and in 2005 he earned his Chartered Advisor for Senior Living from the American College.

His civic and professional activities include YMCA of Alexandria – Past President, Hope House – Past President, Alexandria Museum of Art – Past President, Rapides Symphony Orchestra – Past President, Shepherd Ministries – Past President, Cenla Chapter of American Institute of Banking – Past President, and Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce – Past Vice-President, Business Services.  In addition, Mike is an ordained deacon for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Alexandria serving at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.

Mike and his wife, Donna, have two children – Joey and Lorie – and four grandchildren.

In his free time Mike enjoys spending time at his camp in Natchitoches.
